It’s important to premise that our online Reamping service it’s not an automated process, instead, each sound will be studied by an engineer to obtain the most correct response. While listening to these samples remeber that: evety amplifier can express infinite shades of sound, so do not consider these examples as fixed presets, their purpose is to give you an idea of their general character. Your sound will be built in order to be unique and to respect the originality of your perfomance.
G U I T A R S
To give you a better idea of the response of the amplifiers at your disposal, we realized each setup with three different guitars: a Telecaster with single coil pickups, a LesPaul with Humbucker pickups, and a LesPaul with P90 pickups (using always the bridge pickup). As we said previously, each sample is made with the “Magic Mike” and with the cabinet we considered more suitable for the amplifier. For some of the vintage models, you will find an “Extra” playlist that is meant to underline some peculiar features such as vibrato, tremolo or internal reverbs. Every sample has been realized with the Reamping procedure starting from the same tracks recorded in line with a DI box.

We believe that the binaural technique of recording the environmental sound while the amplifier is playing at full volume is fundamental to capture the original sound and to give it a tridimensional character. In this playlist you can compare the close miking track with the binaural room and the blend between those two. The room track will be delivered separated from the close miking track already phase aligned in order to be ready for your mixing session, dosing it by following your taste. For us it’s a must, judge by yourself…

Cabs and speakers are the voices of every amplifier, and in order to give you more possibilities to customize your sound we allow you to choose the speaker you desire. Some vintage speakers like VOX need their speakers because they are directly connected to their power amplifiers, but most of the heads and combos can be cabled with every cabinet you like. We chose one of them for the sample, but you can decide the solution you prefer. Moreover we give you some examples of our rare Doppolas rotary-cab with different speed; an unique effect, mono or stereo, that we always recommend to add to your standard sound.

We realized bass amplifiers samples with 5 different instruments to give you a wider idea of the way your line will interact with the personality of our heads. We used Fender Precision, Fender Jazz, Rickenbacker 4003, Stingray 5 MusicMan and a Gibson Thunderbird. Besides the amplifiers, we put at your disposal some iconic drivers and saturators, to add distorted lines that you can combine with the amplifier to build your perfect analogue bass sound. Also in this case you can hear the “magic mike” take, but other microphones are available at your request. Every sample is realized with the Reamping process starting from the same line track recorded with a DI box
